Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed has tested negative for the coronavirus following a second examination at the National Centre for Disease Control.

A source at the government house Bauchi told some journalists that the result of the second test came out negative. The source said “Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman (Executive Chairman, Primary Health Care Development Agency) came back this evening from Abuja with the result of the second tests, and it shown negative.

“He will leave the isolation centre very soon.”

Recall that the governor was the first to test negative for the disease in the state, after coming in contact with Adamu Atiku, a son of former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
