Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the dissolution of the management of Adamawa United Football Club.

This was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Yola by the governor’s press secretary, Himwashi Wonosikou.

According to the statement, “Governor Fintiri who commended the management for working hard to nurture the club and take it where it is today, said Government will not allow the club go down but will ensure it consolidates on the gains so far.

“He noted that the need to inject fresh blood and latest techniques as well as also reinvigorate and restore the loss glory of the game of soccer, informed Governments decision.

“While thanking the management for accepting to serve in that capacity that enabled them to contribute to the growth of the game of soccer in Adamawa, the Governor notes that the dissolution is with immediate effect and the management is to hand over all Government property and documents to the ministry immediately.”
