The Christian Association of Nigeria, Adamawa state chapter has commiserate with the family, government, and entire people of Adamawa state over the sudden death of an elder statesman, ambassador Wilberforce Juta.

CAN in a statement signed by the state chairman, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza said, it received the sad news with deep shock while describing the deceased as a true believer who always stands for the truth and for the Christians faith at all times.

” On behalf of the entire Christians family of Adamawa state, we wish to console the family and the state government over the sudden death of ambassador Juta, a great pillar and an elder statesman of repute.

” He lived a selfless life in the service of God and humanity, living an indelible mark in the sands of time, ” the statement reads.

Bishop Mamza prays for God to help and comfort the family of the deceased and hope for God to bring the entire Adamawa Christians and the state government the much-needed peace during this sad time.

Late Juta was a former governor of defunct Gongola state and the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Adamawa State Government House Chapel, Yola.

He died in the early hours of Saturday, 15th August 2020 after a brief illness.
