The Hama Bachama, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila, PhD; OON, (Kpawo Nomwe, Gilongo Diya) heartily congratulates the Muslim community for successful and peacefully marking the end of the 2022 Ramadan Fast.

Homun Dr. Shaga who is also the Chairman of Bachama Traditional Council in a statement felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa State and Nigeria, and prayed that the lessons learnt during the fasting period bear fruits that will further consolidate on the relative peace and progress being enjoyed in the state.

In the statement, the royal father congratulates Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri and his family; the Deputy Governor, Chief Hon. Crowther Seth; members of the state Executive Council, the Hon. Speaker and members of the state Legislature, Justice Nathan Musa, the Chief Justice of the state and the entire Judiciary; the Lamido of Adamawa Emirate and Chairman Council of Chiefs and Emirs of Adamawa State and all Traditional Rulers of the State.

The Hama Bachama prayed that the experience of dedication, resilience, self-discipline and the other virtues that come with and which were learned during the Ramadan period will be sustained and applied as panacea to defeat injustice and to work against all forces that seek to promote insecurity across the national landscape – which has been and remains the most fundamental cog in Nigeria’s wheel of progress.

Religious and Ethnic sentiments he added, must be eschewed in the spirit of this season, so that the pursuit of genuine peace, unity and progress can move to the front burner and be the main focus of our national pursuits.

The monarch prayed for sustenance of peace, prosperity and unity for the state and nation.
