Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the reinstatement of Emmanuel Zira as Chairman of the Adamawa United Football Club.

Governor Fintiri in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, congratulates Zira over his congratulates while hoping that it will be a motivation to reignite the round leather and take Adamawa to an enviable position.

A sports enthusiast and administrator, Zira led Adamawa United Football Club of Yola to qualify for the Premiere League in the 2005/2006 season.

The club currently plays in the elite Nigerian Professional Football League where it is battling to stay afloat relegation waters.
