Pastor Bernard Kaigama, the Deputy Chaplain of the Government House Chapel, Yola, has felicitated with governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the entire state on the occasion of the Eid-El Kabir celebration.

Pastor Kaigama charged citizens to emulate the spirit of the season by embracing peace and unity for the growth and development of the state.

He said “Adamawa State is known to be a peaceful State. Resorting to violence has never been known to solve any issue permanently. I therefore, urge the good citizens of Adamawa state particularly the youths not to allow them selves become tools in the hands of those who believe violence is the only way to voice grievances.”

The clergy admonished citizens to complement the developmental efforts of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri-led administration by being law-abiding citizens.

While wishing all Muslims a happy and fulfilling Eid El Kabir celebration, the clergy said “We can create the greatest impact by putting into practice the noble teachings of our various religions and having the fear of God in our daily activities in order to make our society better.”
