The Youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Adamawa state chapter had Wednesday endorsed bishop Stephen Dami Mamza for second term, as CAN chairman, Adamawa state chapter.

Adamawa state chairman of the youth wing, Mr Godwin Joseph said the group reached a unanimous decision at its Wednesday meeting to pitch tent with the incumbent chairman, Bishop Mamza because of his visionary leadership style.

Joseph said “it is pertinent for us to take the decision because the current CAN chairman style of leadership have convinced us with his giant strides and people oriented leadership with focus on promoting peace and unity among the christian faith.”

He further stressed that ” youths are the backbone of every society, and so, Adamawa Christian youths are solely behind Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza and promised to work hand in hand with him to uplift the body of Christ.

” We are happy that Christians have a permanent place for all their activities and the Secretariat is an indication that people of God are United and will continue to speak in one voice.”

Mr Joseph however disclosed that Bishop Mamza is a selfless leader that Christians will always be praying to have at the helm of the affairs.

It could be recalled that few days ago, organization Of African Instituted Churches, OAIC have also endorsed Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza for re-election as the CAN Chairman Adamawa State Chapter.
