The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria( ALGON) in Adamawa State has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for embarking on people’s oriented projects that brought high- profile personalities across Nigeria for commissioning.

A statement by ALGON Chairman, Honourable Jingi Rufai said the initiative of spreading such massive infrastructural Developments to local governments was not only impactful on electorate but rejuvenating third tier of Government in boosting economic activities at the grassroot.

The statement quoted Jingi Rufai to have highlighted the projects to include; Toungo electrification project,roads in Michika,Hong, Numan, Bachure, Yola-North and Yola-south local governments and the multi- million naira Total-junction fly-over which Former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar is expected to commission on may 29th 2021.

According to Jingi Rufai,Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has made history in bringing to Adamawa State within 12days, Governor Mohammed Badaru of Jigawa State,Oluseyin Makinde of Oyo State, Senator Bala Mohammed of Bauchi ,Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State,Aminu Tambuwal of sokoto,FCT Minister and former Minister of Works ,Osita Chidoka.

The Statement notes that as the over weeklong commissioning of monumental projects is going to be culminated on Democracy-Day by Launching of Fly-over, ALGON urged all Adamawa people to come out enmasse to support Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The urban renewal projects including the interchange of police roundabout are being celebrated not only by the people of Adamawa,but the whole country according to ALGON.

“Fintiri has re-invented history by delivering his promises and the masses are also happy in Adamawa” the statement added.
