The New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP has expressed optimism that the party will win many seats at different levels across the country in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

A senatorial hopeful of the party, Ahmadu Hamman Jimeta (Dan Maje Adamawa), made this known on Saturday after unveiling the Director General of his campaign team, Babba Waziri.

Ahmadu Hamman who is contesting for the seat of Adamawa central senatorial ticket noted that his optimism was informed by the woeful failure of the two dominant political parties in the country.

He said, with a grounded political mobilizer like Waziri, the victory of the party is only a matter of time.

“Today we are here to unveil the director general central zone senatorial campaign office, Ibrahim Bappa Waziri.

“We are confident that this time around we are going to defeat the two dominant political parties in the land. For the past 20 years PDP was around and they did nothing rather they brought deformation and dislocation.

“We thought APC will bring succor to Nigerians but after the APC failed woefully we left them. We are going into the polls with the experience, capacity, and capability to bring the needed changes to resolve Nigeria’s challenges,” he said.

While eulogizing his campaign DG, Hamman said as a former legislator with h massive grassroots appeal, and onetime chairman of a political party, Bappa Waziri knows the terrain enough to ensure the victory of the party come 2023 polls.
