Following the recent flood that submerged houses, farmlands Worth million of Naira in Lamurde, Demsa and Numan constituency, Hon Dr Vrati Nzonzo has donated food, non food items and cash to the communities affected
Hon Vrati Nzonzo is the APC candidate for House Of Representatives in Lamurde, Demsa and Numan Federal Constituency visited Opalo, Ngbakowo, Gamadio, Bolki, Vulpi, Bare, Imburu, Borrong, Mbula Kuli, Dilli, Dong, Dwam among others
Six Hundred bags of grains are distributed to all the sixteen communities affected in the three local government areas of Adamawa State. The APC candidate has assured the affected persons for more support, prayers and cooperation to see the end of flooding in the local government areas
According to the APC candidate, without immediate support from the well meaning individuals, the situation could deteriorate as people could face multiple crises with the peak of the lean season and significant displacement could still occur with negative coping mechanisms such as hunger, diseases or child begging
Hon Nzonzo appealed to the Federal Government to find a lasting solution to the issue of flooding in Lamurde, Demsa and Numan constituency. He however promised the good people of his constituency, if elected in 2023, he will push at the green chamber for possible drainage to curb the menace
He however appreciates the giant strides of the Secretary to the government of the Federation Barr Boss Mustapha for considering the plight of the people of Lamurde, Demsa and Numan constituency while they are in need of assistance
Nzonzo Said the flood which became a yearly problem of the three local government had over the years destroyed property worth millions of Naira and lives, adding that huge amount of money was needed to address it permanently
Appreciating Hon Vrati Nzonzo, the affected persons in the three local government areas of the State applauded his efforts for coming to their aid during the menace that ravaged the communities. They assured him of their support come 2023 general elections.
