Adamawa state have recorded it’s first case of the coronavirus.
The suspect is a returnee from Kano, the second state with the highest number of confirmed cases in Nigeria.
He has been on self isolation when he returned from Kano last week.
Confirming the case to a colleague via a telephone conversation, he said, “I just got a call from the covid-19 containment committee this morning, informing me that my result showed I’m positive for the virus.”
The Adamawa state covid-19 containment committee, is yet to officially confirm the case.
