Adamawa state former governor, Bala James Ngilari has said he has accepted the call to run for the office of the senator to represent Adamawa northern zone.

Barr. Ngilari in a statement said “northern Senatorial zone is indeed blessed with both human, intellectual and natural resources, yet the most hit by the insurgency that ravaged the area in the last decade. The zone which is home to me; therefore needs calculated, selfless and intentional approach to bring, attract structural, progressive growth, and human development to our people.

“I am giving myself into the race for the seat of the senate for Adamawa senatorial district, to bring the desired and deserved development to my people.”

He further stated that “this phase of my life, is not for harnessing wealth, nor building wealth to my self, for I am a man blessed by God and I am thankful; rather I desire to build more on all the efforts that has been made in the past by making impacts and bettering the lives of my people and the state at large.

“I have set the zone as a priority before, even above my political ambition, during the insurgency. Now, is time to bring in giant developmental strides.”
