Adamawa state has recorded 3 new coronavirus cases after discharging all the 42 suspected cases from isolation centre.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had in its daily update of Sunday the 21st of June announced that the state has recorded 3 new cases out of the 19 samples submitted for testing.

The Adamawa state COVID-19 Containment Committee had last week announced that the state had successfully discharged all 42 patients in it’s isolation centre.

In an event organised by the World Health Organisation, the COVID-19 patients we’re celebrated as heroes and heroines of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, 436 new confirmed cases has been recorded nationwide bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 20244
