Unknown gunmen have killed 7 people and left 7 others badly injured in an attack on Negga community, Numan local government of Adamawa state.

Negga, a community under Bolki ward located at the border between Adamawa and Taraba has suffered series of attacks in recent times.

The deputy speaker of the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakeno Mackondo who is representing Numan constituency had during plenary on Wednesday told the house that some yet to be identified gunmen reportedly stormed the community around 9:55pm on Tuesday and opened fire on the residents resulting to the death of 7 while 7 others were left injured.

The House had strongly condemned the attack while calling on the government and security agencies to ensure such does not happened again.
