Police have uncovered a center where children are maltreated and abused under the pretense of Almajiri school at Sabon Anguwa, kwamba area of Suleja Local Government Area of Niger state.

Ibrahim Idris who is the Chief Press Secretary to the chairman, Suleja local government council said that the suspect and the rescued children have been moved to Minna the state capital for onward investigation.

Idris said the council is urging the general public to report such kind of wicked activities to law enforcement agencies, which he said will help the government in its fight against child trafficking and abuse.
