The senator representing Adamawa north senatorial zone, senator Ishaku Abbo has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party and has since indicate interest to join the ruling All Progressives Congress.

A media aide to the senator, Michael Bolgent said the senator announced his defection today on the floor of the house.

Senator Abbo has been a steong critic of Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri despite being from the same zone and political party.

His defection has no doubt come as a bug blow to the ruling PDP in Adamawa state after losing former governor Bala James Ngillari to the APC just recently.
