Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas has congratulates the newly reelected chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa state chapter, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza.
Bishop Mamza had Thursday emerged as chairman of the christian association after garnering majority eighty one votes from the eighty three delegates.
Namdas who is one of the members of the House of Representatives from Adamawa state described Bishop Dami’s reelection as a true reflection of his good leadership qualities.
“Bishop Mamza’s reelection is a testament of his purposeful leadership and a good results of the positive changed he has caused not only to the christian community but Adamawa state as a whole within the last three years,” Namdas said.
The lawmaker described the clergy as an agent of peace while congratulating the christian community and the entire state for having him as a leader.
“We are glad to have a man like bishop Mamza who is passionate about helping the needy and promoting peace and unity in the state. I’m confident that the next three years of his reign will bring about more positive change to the state as well as promote peace and unity of all citizens,” Namdas added.
Bishop Mamza emerged chairman after eighty one out of the eighty three delegates voted for him in Thursday’s elections.
