Adamu Duguri, an elder brother to Bauchi state governor, Bala Muhammed, who was kidnapped recently has been released.

Duguri was kidnapped by 4 unknown gunmen wielding AK 47 rifles on Wednesday, 25th March at a tailoring shop in the Unguwar Jaki area of Bauchi metropolis around 7 pm.

News line source in Bauchi confirmed that Duguri has been released and is reunited with his family.

It is not clear if ransom was paid before his release, but it is on record that the family had last week offered to pay two million naira, N2m, to anyone with useful information on his whereabouts.
