The cases of coronavirus disease have continued to be on the increase in Adamawa state after it recorded 31 cases within a week.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its a daily update on Sunday 28 of March reported 11 new cases of the coronavirus disease in Adamawa state. With this latest report, Adamawa now has 42 confirmed cases of the COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 490 new cases have been confirmed nationwide with 7 deaths recorded. This brings the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 24, 567.
Out of that number, 9007 have been discharged while 565 deaths have been recorded since March 2020.
